But where did it all begin?

Our story

Founded in 2007 as Parker Baker PropertiesLimited, we started out purely as a letting agency. But the time soon camefor expansion so we bought out Simpson Evans’ lettings department and took overthe office in Walter Road, Swansea.  From there we covered all of SwanseaCounty, as well as the nearby Neath and Port Talbot areas up as far asYstradgynlais.

Business was good, but as more and more peoplecame to us for help we needed further expansion.  In October 2008, webought out Ashley Jones & Partners lettings department and merged theirSwansea office - including a number of their staff - with our Walter Roadoffice.

More customers to helpmeant that we needed a larger office, so in 2012 we moved from our WalterRoad branch to Sketty. A year later we decided it wastime to widen our catchment area to help customers based in Llanelli. Itmeant working even harder and a lot of overtime - but we are willing to put inthe extra work if it means helping you. The property market never sleeps,so we take every opportunity we can to meet your property needs.

Now, with nearly all ourproperty enquiries being made online or over the phone, we don't have a needfor an expensive office so we operate from an office space in Gorseinon wherewe can easily meet the needs of our clients with easy access to Swansea citycentre, Gower, the M4, Llanelli, all of our client base is reachable within20-30 minutes.

We continued to push business forward in 2014by undergoing a rebrand.  Our name changed slightly but you can restassured that the same personable and efficient service remains.  It hasand always will be the lifeblood of our business.

As part of the rebranding process our website underwenta massive redevelopment.  Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, lookingto let your home or rent a room, involved in commercial or residential property– you now have access to heaps of useful and valuable information.

What’s more, our website allows you to find yourideal home or perfect tenant all at the click of a button. That’s not tosay you can no longer pop into our office, in fact we enjoy getting to know youand building a face-to-face relationship.  But as the world becomes moreand more digital we’ve invested in providing you with an online service that iseven quicker than before.

In 2020 due to the effects of Covid-19, we decidedto return to our roots and re-focus our efforts solely on the lettings market.This meant another minor change to our name and branding, but the samepersonable and efficient service remains, with a few new technology investmentsto make us even more efficient moving forward.

What does the future hold?

We are constantly looking into new ways to makeour service even more efficient, so plans for more development in 2021 arealready underway– watch this space.
